Title Changes for Senior Administrative Team

THE ARC OF PLYMOUTH AND UPPER CAPE COD RECOGNIZES 
SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM

PLYMOUTH, MA  - - The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod is excited to announce important changes impacting their senior administrative staff whose leadership has resulted in financial growth, continued stability, successful service area expansion onto Cape Cod, and thoughtful strategic guidance throughout the pandemic. The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod is recognized as an industry leader in the disability services space. This development is necessary to continue to meet the ever-changing needs of the organization, now and into the future, as it more accurately reflects the strength and capacity of the organization to stakeholders and community partners. These talented professionals have demonstrated the leadership necessary to meet those needs.

Mary Valachovic, previously Executive Director, will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mary has been working in the field of disability services for over 35-years and her commitment to ethical and values-based leadership and service delivery has been instrumental in The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod’s growth. The organization’s services support hundreds of people with disabilities, and their families, throughout Southcoast and Upper Cape Cod communities each year.

“The Board is proud of the growth and continued delivery of high-quality services realized by The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod under Mary’s leadership,” explained Steve Costello, Board of Directors Chairperson. “The changes we are announcing today are reflective of the exceptional work and commitment of Mary and the senior administrative team, including the expansion of services beyond Greater Plymouth and onto Cape Cod.”

Rick Johnson will assume the role of Senior Vice President of Business Operations, Kathy Baldwin, Vice President of Program Development, Elizabeth Cincotta, Vice President of Communications and Development, Mimi McCarthy, Vice President of Health Care Services, and Victoria Gill, Vice President of Program Operations. 

“The changes for Rick, Kathy, Elizabeth, Mimi, and Victoria directly reflect their commitment to our mission, passion for the work, and expertise in their respective fields,” said Valachovic. “Working alongside this exceptional group of professionals is a pleasure, and their collective contributions have been critical to the success of the organization.
