Individual Home Support
The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod is dedicated to providing the type of support necessary to enhance the individuals’ abilities for assuming as much responsibility over their own lives and personal well-being.
People receiving Individual Home Supports (IHS) may live alone or with one or more roommates and receives assistance from Arc staff for a set number of hours each week. Assistance can include:
Activities of daily living
Financial management
Community involvement
Arranging/providing transportation if necessary
Companionship activities such as walks, going to movies etc.

The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod accepts referrals through Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) to provide Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). People who qualify for the ABI-MFP (Acquired Brain Injury-Moving Forward Plan) waiver and currently live in their own homes can benefit from services such as:
Homemaker services
Chore services
Companionship services
