Rhythm Works Integrative Dance is a specialized, but inclusive, dance program. Held at Center Stage Dance Academy, their goal is to ensure that dance is accessible to everyone. Benefits of this class include: gross and fine motor skill development, body awareness, body control, social skills, strength, flexibility, focus, imitation skills, memory and recall, coordination and receptive and expressive language. Students may be assisted by a parent, guardian, therapist or companion.

Class is taught by Certified Rhythm Works Instructors, Samantha Dean (MS, OTR/L) and Emily Gillis (M Ed. in Applied Behavioral Analysis). Both instructors were students of Center Stage Dance Academy and completed the teacher training program. While continuing their journey to pursue higher education, they have returned to the dance studio to combine their passions of dance and working with people with disabilities.

Sessions will be held on Saturday and run for 6-weeks, and students will have the opportunity to participate in the annual recital in June.
