Even during normal (non pandemic) times, school can be challenging for students with learning differences or disabilities. During this time of online/hybrid learning, are you looking for ways to empower a young person in your life with a learning difference, disability or neurodiversity? Are you interested in encouraging pride in their abilities and their identity while fostering healthy strategies for school and life? 

Within this presentation, author LeDerick Horne will share his own experience as a student with a learning disability who was able to graduate from college with a BA in mathematics. LeDerick is now one of the nation’s most sought after speakers dedicated to improving the outcomes of youth with disabilities. 

·     During this presentation, LeDerick will give advice to help all students develop positive identities as people with disabilities. 

·     Strategies for helping students reach their transition goals and develop positive relationships in school and the adult world will also be shared.
