Are you a dog lover or pet owner? Interested in volunteering to help dogs, or working with dogs someday? Join us for a course all about our favorite, furry, four-legged friends…dogs! Class participants review the history of domesticating dogs, learn the difference between dog breeds, how dogs communicate, what is involved in the grooming process and the cool, helpful jobs that dogs can have.
Additionally, each week the group will spend a few minutes training a puppy a new trick after the lesson! By the end of the course, the group will get to see the pup perform the finished trick! Participants are encouraged to train their pup at home simultaneously, if possible.
To register for this class, please contact Victoria Gill, Director of Operations.
